Household Hazardous Waste HHW home
Household Hazardous Waste HHW

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) are corrosive, toxic, reactive, or flammable materials found in our homes that are illegal to put in the trash or pour down storm drains, sewers, or on the ground.

Such consumer waste products, if carelessly managed, can and frequently do, create environmental and public health hazards.

Consumers can transport a maximum of 15 gallons or 125 pounds per trip.

Any CESQG, and any resident, can transport (legally) up to 55 gallons at a time to an oil recycling collection site where they have pre-arranged for the delivery. This only makes sense where there is a “wand” and pump at the receiving site. Please call before you go to any recycling location.
